ALB and Hypertension: Compared with patients who did not have renal biopsy, these patients had higher 24-hUP quantification [2.99 g/L (1.42, 5.68) vs. 1.75 g/L (0.90, 3.60), P < 0.001], higher serum creatinine levels [70.8 μmol/L (55.0, 100.0) vs. 65.6 μmol/L (51.0, 90.6), P = 0.007], higher incidence of hypertension (14.7% vs. 9.7%, P = 0.018), and lower serum albumin levels (27.5 ± 7.7 g/L vs. 28.7 ± 6.9 g/L, P = 0.02), SLEDAI scores (13.6 ± 7.0 vs. 14.6 ± 7.3, P = 0.017), and PGA scores [1.80 (1.20, 2.10) vs. 2.00 (1.50, 2.30), P = 0.007].
