MYC, a well-known eccDNA-amplified driver gene which promotes cancer cell proliferation, immortalization and cross-resistance, was identified in the most cancer types (11 of 12) with the highest EGIS, followed by CCND1 (11 of 12), H3-5 (10 of 12), YWHAZ (10 of 12) and GAPDHS (10 of 12) [85,86].
