IGHE and anaphylaxis: Given the current situation with data and arguments for and against the application of sugammadex for the rescue of anaphylaxis, the recommendation against its use may not be unreasonable and perhaps even prudent but it also seems too soon to discount many of the findings in the 23 case studies and to assume that host-guest sequestration and immune mechanisms involving IgE antibodies and mast cell receptors are not involved.
