ALB and hyperhomocysteinemia: Univariate analysis identified several factors significantly associated with one-year mortality, including age, admission NIHSS and BI scores, atrial fibrillation, hyperhomocysteinemia, smoking, alcohol consumption, sedentary lifestyle, triglycerides, fasting blood glucose, urea nitrogen, albumin, globulin, AST, bilirubin (direct and indirect), white and red blood cell counts, platelets, hemoglobin, and the TyG index and its quartiles (P < 0.05).
