Figure 2A shows the clustering of inflammatory protein profiles in individuals with COVID-19 compared to non-COVID-19 controls. Thirty-one proteins were significantly increased in COVID-19 patients compared to non-COVID-19 controls after adjustment for multiple testing (Figure 2B). The top ten significantly increased proteins were TNF, IL7, VEGFA, CCL20, CSF1, CXCL6, MCP4, CD40, FGF21, and CXCL11 (Figure 2C). The gene discussed is CCL13; the disease is COVID-19.
