In conclusion, our study reveals the critical involvement of SLC9A2 in tumor metastasis and angiogenesis, uncovering a previously unrecognized mechanism by which SLC9A2 facilitates the dephosphorylation of STAT3, thereby suppressing the oncogenic effects of STAT3 signaling in CRC (Fig. 8I). Here, SLC9A2 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
