KLRC2 and HIV-1 infection: Collectively, our study has identified MDDC as an useful tool to modulate adaptive NKG2C+ NK cells as cell population with beneficial therapeutic properties and the blockade of selective checkpoint receptors as a modulator of these therapies, and therefore we have expanded the knowledge about the development of new tools to potentiate NK immunotherapy, which will be relevant for the field to develop new strategies to cure HIV-1 infection.
