Trend topic analysis of these keywords (Figure 6B) indicates that from 2014 to 2020, research predominantly concentrated on “Parkinson’s disease,” “neurons,” “substantia nigra,” “expression,” and “activation.” Since 2020, there has been a marked shift towards exploring “Alzheimer’s disease,” “alpha synuclein,” “meta analysis,” and “mouse,” with a focus on keywords related to neurodegenerative diseases associated with Parkinson’s disease, specific proteins, analytical methods, and animal models. This evidence concerns the gene SNCA and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
