Using unique immunohistochemistry (IHC) data generated previously [20], tumour CD3+, CD4+, and CD8+ immune cell counts at baseline (diagnostic biopsy) and pre-cycle 2 (on-treatment biopsy) were investigated in the context of three key measures of peripheral oxygen carrying capacity taken pre-cycle 1, pre-cycle 2, and at the end of six cycles of therapy (End chemo/pre-surgery). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and neoplasm.
