Interestingly, while the incidence of biallelic loss in FANCA was significantly higher in the HRD group compared to the HRP group (43.75% [7/16] in HRD patients versus 9.09% [1/11] in HRP patients), no correlation was found between FANCA promoter methylation and HRD scores (Appendix Fig. S6C). Here, FANCA is linked to hypoparathyroidism-retardation-dysmorphism syndrome.
