ALOX5AP (also known as 5-lipoxygenase activating protein, FLAP) is required for leukotriene synthesis; it has been implicated in inflammatory responses, stroke, and myocardial infarction; and it is an indicator for predicting high CD8+ tumor infiltration and a “hot” tumor microenvironment [25].
