Taken together with the observed elevation of hsa-miR-24-3p in RRMS patients compared to HCs, this suggests that high hsa-miR-24-3p levels may directly inhibit IFNG mRNA and downregulate IL-12, ultimately leading to reduced IFN-γ concentrations (Fig. 4).
