Consequently, based on the public database, this study identified six prognostic genes (AXL, PIM1, STK40, CXCL1, IFNG, and SERPINE1) relevant to TCS in GC through a sequence of bioinformatics analyses and established prognostic risk models founded upon these genes, presenting a fresh perspective for facilitating the progress of GC targeted therapy and elevating the survival rate of patients. The gene discussed is SERPINE1; the disease is gastric cancer.
