In contrast to somatic SNVs, prostate tumor SCNAs have been reported in a single study identifying a high frequency (14–52%) of gene losses impacting SRY, ZFY, BPY1, KDM5D, RBM1, and BPY2. 22Additionally, for PCa cell lines losses in NLGN4Y, TMSB4Y, TSPY1, and TTTY13 have been observed for LNCaP and PC3, with further DDX3Y, TTTY15, USP9Y, and UTY losses in PC3 only.23 This evidence concerns the gene DDX3Y and prostate neoplasm.
