Upon further analysis of the potential gene pairs that could impact this pathway, we identified that the CXCL16-CXCR6 axis is more intense in tumor cells and immune-suppressive T cells (CD8_Exhausted, Treg_Suppressive and Tc17) compared to other T cell subclusters, with the highest interaction strength observed with Tc17 cells (Figure 5, Supplementary Figure S4B).
