Patients with stage IIA–IIIB resectable NSCLC (described by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) (ref. 5)) with no sensitizing epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations or anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) translocations were eligible for the study. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
