Of the 99 women with P/LP variants in BRCA1/2, 44 (44.4%) had personal history of breast cancer with the mean age at diagnosis being 40.2 years (range: 24–70), and 4 (4.1%) had personal history of ovarian cancer with the mean age at diagnosis being 36.3 years (range: 23–42). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA1 and ovarian cancer.
