The network visualization (Fig. 5B) highlighted key genes, including CCL20, CXCL1, CXCL2, and CXCL8, forming highly connected hubs in pathways related to chemokine-mediated signaling and myeloid leukocyte activation, suggested to play a significant role in mediating inflammation and immune cell recruitment, marking the early response to H. pylori infection and the transition to chronic inflammation in gastritis. This evidence concerns the gene CCL20 and gastritis.
