Following correction for multiple testing, genetically predicted higher levels of STAT3 (OR: 0.43; 95% CI, 0.33–0.54), TNFRSF1A (OR: 0.21; 95% CI, 0.12–0.37), MAPK3 (OR: 0.71; 95% CI, 0.61–0.83), and TLR3 (OR: 0.92; 95% CI, 0.87–0.97) were negatively associated with MS risk.
