A study found that hypoxia induced NSCLC cell-derived exosomal pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2, a rate-limiting enzyme in glycolysis) could promote the glycolysis of NSCLC cells, reduce cisplatin induced reactive oxygen species (ROS), and inhibit apoptosis through PKM2-Bcl2 pathway. This evidence concerns the gene PKM and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
