Additionally, PCSK9‐mediated LDL was negatively associated with rectal cancer (OR = 0.60, 95% CI: 0.48–0.75, p < 0.01), while NPC1L1‐mediated LDL was positively associated with rectal cancer (OR = 4.57, 95% CI: 2.10–9.95, p < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene NPC1L1 and rectal cancer.
