CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: In a separate small-scale wrist study by Just et al. (13), in both the early RA (n = 20) and long-standing RA (n = 20) patient groups, the baseline EULAR-OMERACT ultrasound PD, GS, and CS all showed significant correlations with the RA MRI score (RAMRIS) MRI synovitis and synovial biopsy inflammation (as determined by the Krenn score) but not with the DAS28-CRP.
