Compared with non-sarcopenia group, the sarcopenia group was found to be older and less educated (as shown in Table 1), and HGB, ALT, ALB, BMI, CG, WC, and WHR were lower than those in the non-sarcopenia group, while FPG, TG, TyG, TyG-BMI, TyG-CG, TyG-WC, and TyG-WHR were higher (P < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CYGB and sarcopenia.
