Considering the low incidence of AAA in Ang II-treated C57BL/6 J mice, one study pointed out that a combination of Ang II and β-aminopropionitrile monofumarate (BAPN), an inhibitor of lysyl oxidase, can induce both thoracic and AAAs with a high incidence [11].
