Based on the KEGG database, we observed that the differential metabolite levels between the AKI and Akk d17 groups were enriched in pathways related to tyrosine metabolism, alanine, aspartate, and glutamate metabolism, central carbon metabolism in cancer, GABAergic synapse, pentose and glucuronate interconversions, valine, leucine and isoleucine biosynthesis, prolactin signaling, phenylalanine metabolism, and galactose metabolism (Fig. 5D). Here, PRL is linked to acute kidney injury.
