De novo MET amplifications are identified in 1%–5% of non‐small‐cell lung cancers (NSCLCs), while acquired MET amplifications are found in up to 20% of patients with EGFR mutant NSCLC at progression to an anti‐EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI).4 Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
