While Godel et al analysed DRG volume and were able to differentiate neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2)-associated schwannomatosis from schwannomatosis (formerly called neurofibromatosis type 3) using this quantitative DRG feature [19], to our knowledge, there is currently no in vivo MRI study of human DRG in NF1 patients. This evidence concerns the gene NF2 and schwannomatosis.
