We also found high novelty rate for GWAS of CEA in KCPS2, which recapitulates several known tumor biomarkers in various cancer types, including a non-coding transcript exon variant (rs149037075-T; Beta=0.179, P = 4.8 × 10−477) in ABO47,48 and a missense variant (rs28362459-C; Beta = 0.068, P = 4.85 × 10−128) in FUT3 (also known as Lewis gene)49–52, consistent with previous CEA GWAS53. Here, CEACAM5 is linked to neoplasm.
