Nowadays, molecular medicine and genomics unravel the complex and heterogeneous nature of BC by identifying several molecular markers such as microRNAs (miRNAs) (let‐7, miR‐155, miR‐153) and mutations in certain genes (p53, breast cancer gene 1 and 2 [BRCA1 and BRCA2]) [4, 5, 6, 9]. This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and breast cancer.
