IFNG and melanoma: Interestingly, we noted that T cells overexpressing the full-length Siglec-7 receptor demonstrated a 30-50% reduction in IFNγ secretion in co-cultures with melanoma cell lines (*p<0.05; 624.38 and 888/A2; Figure 4F), suggesting that Siglec-7 may fulfill an inhibitory function in primary human T-cells.
