Furthermore, the levels of antioxidants SOD, GSH, NRF2, HO-1, and GPX4 in plasma were lower in the HBV-related HCC patients than that in the HCs, particularly with significant reductions in SOD, GSH, NRF2, and GPX4 (SOD: p = 0.005; GSH: p = 0.021; NRF2: p < 0.0001; HO-1: p = 0.4405; GPX4: p < 0.0001) (Figures 3B–F).
