In a recent meta-analysis by Mansour-Ghanaei et al. [6], data from four studies showed that green tea supplementation significantly reduced alanine transaminase (ALT) (−12.81 U/L; 95%Confidence Interval (CI): −18.17 to −7.45) and aspartate transaminase (AST) levels (−10.91 U/L; 95% CI: −19.66 to −2.17) in MASLD patients.
