CRP and anemia: Upon admission, blood tests showed increasing inflammation markers with white blood cell (WBC) 10 × 109 cells/L (75% neutrophils), mild anemia with hemoglobin (Hb) 12.5 g/dL, elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) 66 mg/L, normal liver function, and a slight increase in alkaline phosphatase (ALP) 194 U/L.
