Consistent with previous studies, nevertheless [7,9,54,55], these findings collectively indicated that combination treatments of 2-DG and diclofenac sodium would substantially inhibit HIF-1α and its mediated signals for angiogenesis and quiescence, hence inhibiting overall in vivo metastasis, in both MDA-231 and MCF7 cell lines, thus inhibiting invasion to distant body cells in both BC cell lines. This evidence concerns the gene HIF1A and breast cancer.
