A subunit of the spliceosome factor 3B 1 (SF3B1) has been reported to be overexpressed in NSCLC tissues compared to adjacent normal tissues and inhibited ferroptosis by upregulating SLC7A11, thereby promoting tumorigenesis and progression in lung LUAD through the enhanced proliferation, migration, and invasion of LUAD cells [22]. This evidence concerns the gene SLC7A11 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
