TNF and polycystic ovary syndrome: Age and BMI were similar among the three groups, while levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) (0.81 (0.34, 3.10) vs. 3.16 (0.66, 5.32), p < 0.05) and TNFα (9.6 (7.5, 13.7) vs. 13.3 (9.9, 15.7) (p < 0.05)) were higher in the PCOS population versus the controls, but not significantly different between the PCOS and PCOS+ groups.
