CD274 and skin squamous cell carcinoma: A recently published phase II trial using three doses of neoadjuvant atezolizumab (a PD-L1 inhibitor) in stage III–IV resectable CSCC reported a lower pCR rate of 35% (7/20; 95% CI, 15.4–59.2) and mPR in 20% (4/20; 95% CI, 5.7–43.7), with 16/20 patients completing neoadjuvant therapy [36].
