Other translocations identified in PC samples include fusions of SLC45A3, which encodes the solute carrier family 45 member 3, with ETV5 (1q32.1)(3q28); KLK2 (19q13.41) with ETV4 (17q21); C15orf21, a prostate-specific androgen-repressed gene with ETV1 (15q21.1)(7p21.3); and SLC45A3 (1q32.1) with ETV1 (7p21.3) [10]. The gene discussed is ETV1; the disease is pachyonychia congenita.
