Out of 49 tested genes, PAM16, TIMM17B, MFN2, DNM1L, PPARGC1, HTRA2, HSPA9, SPG7, TPCN1, TPCN2, MAP1LC3A, BECN1, PINK1, BNIP3, and PARL genes were in statistically significant and negative correlation with the cardiomyocyte diameter, i.e., the extent of cardiac hypertrophy. This evidence concerns the gene PINK1 and cardiac hypertrophy.
