Out of 49 tested genes, PAM16, TIMM17B, MFN2, DNM1L, PPARGC1, HTRA2, HSPA9, SPG7, TPCN1, TPCN2, MAP1LC3A, BECN1, PINK1, BNIP3, and PARL genes were in statistically significant and negative correlation with the cardiomyocyte diameter, i.e., the extent of cardiac hypertrophy. Here, PARL is linked to cardiac hypertrophy.
