Patients with skeletal system disorders, such as osteoporosis [1,2,3] and Paget’s disease [4,5], as well as patients with specific cancers, including breast [6,7] and prostate [8,9] cancer, are frequently prescribed bisphosphonates and RANKL (Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor Kappa-B Ligand) inhibitors. This evidence concerns the gene TNFSF11 and osteoporosis.
