The c-MET pathway is one of therapeutic targets in targeted therapy, and it has been established that this pathway plays a critical role in promoting the malignant phenotype of liver cancer, with nearly 30% of HCC patients exhibiting overexpression of c-MET (Lee et al. 2013), blocking this pathway can effectively inhibit the growth of liver cancer (You et al. 2011). This evidence concerns the gene MET and liver cancer.
