Those with PSCI tended to be older (p = 0.003), had higher prevalence of hypertension (p = 0.039), diabetes (p = 0.001), DWI-ASPECTS 0–7 (p = 0.041) and WMLs (p = 0.012), and have higher NIHSS score (p = 0.041), and hyper-sensitive C-reactive protein levels (p = 0.001).
