NFKB1 and colitis: A large number of animal experiments have demonstrated that curcumin can alleviate DSS-induced colitis by regulating TLR4/NF-κB[35] and Treg/Th17 signaling pathways,[36] inhibiting NLRP3 flammable body activation and IL-1β production,[37] and modulating autophagy and intestinal immunity.[38] Furthermore, the therapeutic effects of curcumin on UC have been consistently demonstrated in clinical trials.[14,16]
