Several studies have underscored the significant association between novel thrombotic molecular markers, including thrombin‐antithrombin complex (TAT), tissue plasminogen activator–inhibitor complex (t‐PAIC), plasmin‐α2 plasmin inhibitor complex (PIC) and thrombomodulin (TM), with exacerbating thrombus formation, abnormal hypercoagulation, and impaired fibrinolysis in AIS patients. The gene discussed is THBD; the disease is androgen insensitivity syndrome.
