FAT1 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: Owing to the importance of FAT1 in organisms, mutations in FAT1 may cause diverse malignant biological behaviors and have been detected in multiple diseases, such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia (38), hepatocellular carcinoma (39), pituitary spindle cell tumors (40), and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (41, 42).
