CD40 and colitis: I3C treatment caused significant changes in gut microbiota with depletion of colitis‐associated gram‐negative bacteria, such as B. acidfaciens, and increasing beneficial gram‐positive species (genus Roseburia) known to produce butyrate (Figures8A–G; Figures S13A–S13G, Supporting Information) in anti‐CD40‐induced colitis mice administrated with IgG2a control antibody.
