The characterization, through ANPS, of the organization of dominant emotional systems in children with depressive and anxiety disorders could therefore be integrated with the study of the receptor polymorphism of genes that code for the opioid system (OPRM1), oxytocin (OXT), and vasopressin (AVP) and which, to date, seem to be involved in interindividual variability due to the manifestation of feelings of deep sadness, loneliness, anguish, and anger [121,122,123].
