RIPK2 gene polymorphisms have also been linked to gastric cancer susceptibility (Ota et al., 2018), and increased RIPK2 expression has been associated with poor prognosis in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (Wang et al., 2018), RIPK2 also enhances the survival of triple-negative breast cancer cells, the most aggressive subtype of breast cancer (Jaafar et al., 2018).
