In this study, patients were also divided into subgroups based on their follow-up outcomes, suggesting that metastasis and death statuses are correlated with CEA, CA125, and CA199 levels in gastric cancer patients, and that combined detection achieved an AUC of 0.892 for diagnosing metastasis status and 0.926 for diagnosing death status. The gene discussed is CEACAM5; the disease is gastric cancer.
