Preclinical studies have demonstrated that TCM and its active constituents can inhibit the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells, promote apoptosis, reverse drug resistance, and modulate key oncogenic signaling pathways, including PI3K/Akt/mTOR, Wnt/β-catenin, Notch, NF-κB, and MAPK pathways (24–28). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and ovarian carcinoma.
